Printers' top loyalty scores named for fourth quarter

An AlphaGraphics in Canton, Michigan, took home top customer satisfaction and loyalty honors in Survey Advantage's most recent Print Buyer Satisfaction Benchmarks poll, Printing Impressions reports.

Surveying more than 10,000 print buyers during the fourth quarter of 2011, respondents provided their levels of satisfaction for companies after printing jobs were completed.

The Canton-based printing shop received the best overall loyalty rating, with 98 percent of its customers saying they were "very likely" to recommend the shop to colleagues or friends.

An AlphaGraphics store in Franklin, Tennessee, was the top printer in its category during the third quarter of 2011, although The Print Shop of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, achieved the best overall loyalty rating at 99 percent.

AlphaGraphics currently has more than 270 independently-owned business centers in seven different countries, and specializes in design and marketing services, according to its website.

Metrics for the study included top performing printers that received above an 86 percent loyalty rating. Average performers saw an 76-85 percent rating, while poor performers were under 76 percent. The industry average was 81 percent.
